It has the primary academic mission to develop various Communication and Media studies. "Connective" refers to something that connects or serves to connect. In the context of communication, "connective" refers to linguistic elements such as conjunctions used to link phrases, clauses or sentences. Connective: Journal of Communication and Media Review, then, is a journal that serves as a connector or a unifying place for discussion and a more holistic understanding of contemporary communication and media topics.
